ABSTRACT

Liposarcoma of paratesticular origin is extremely rare and preoperative diagnosis is unusual. Myxoid type or liposarcoma is in general less malignant than testicular tumor and orchiectomy with high ligation and wide excision of tumor mass are probably the treatment of choice. We are present a case of myxoid liposarcoma and reviewed literatures.

ABSTRACT

We reviewed 28 patients with renal pelvic tumor during the period from 1974 to 1989 and 17 patients were followed up. The over all survival rate at l, 2, and 3 years was 88%, 63%, and 50%, respectively, by the Kaplan-Meier method. The stage and the grade of the tumor were the most influencing factors on prognosis. Simultaneous tumors of ureter or bladder, non-visualizing kidney on excretory urography, duration of the gross hematuria more than 6 months showed relatively poor prognosis. But development of subsequent bladder tumor did not seem to influence on prognosis.

ABSTRACT

A Clinical observation of 34 Patients who had taken pyeloureterolasty due to UPJ stricture during 11 years was made. Operative success rate in followed-up patients was 85% and success rate was dismembered pyeloplasty was 88%. Diminition of caliectasis was observed in 78% in 23 kidneys of 20 patients who had taken postoperative urogaraphy. Improved drainage on ureterogram was thought to be a more appropriate indicator than diminition of calietasis in postoperative radiologic evaluation of pyeloureteroplasty.
